Aerosols. What are these and WHY JUST AEROSOLS?
|
Aerosols are cold systems, which consist of invisible by the naked eye liquid or solid small parts. These small parts are situated in suspension state in fluid, more often in air. We can see aerosols in the nature, for example, in a form of fogs –small drops of water in suspension state in air, and in a form of smokes – small solid dispersed in air parts of different substances. In spite of natural aerosols artificial aerosols group is picked out.
Aerosol method of using those or other substances gives quick effect and economy.
How is the high performance of aerosols action explained?
It is well-known that extension of preparation surface is accompanied by increase of its activity. It is well-known also the thinner substance is sprayed the more sizeable active surface it gets. Spraying in a form of fog little substance quantity occupies quite big volume. For wishful action guarantee sprayed substance on some surface it needs to calculate its quantity, which will create the necessary concentration during dispersion. Substance expense is minimal, effect is momentary. Only aerosol systems have such properties and this is their main advantage compared to other substance states.
There is almost one method of liquid and powdery aerosols getting in conditions of life. This is aerosol packing. Substance is packing up in it under pressure and spraying with help of liquefied and compressed gases. This dispersion differs from usual pulverization as size of small parts we can regulate by changing of spraying substance ratio and liquefied gas in a packing. This possibility guarantees maximum effect of sprayed substance in corresponding use conditions.
Medical preparation, insecticides and other substances must have quick action and some time must be in suspension state. These goods are sprayed in form of so small, invisible by human eye parts.
There is one more difference between substance dispersion with help of aerosol packing and usual sprayer. Small parts size which were gotten with help of aerosol packing in contrast to small parts, which were gotten by usual pulverization, are in no big border.
Aerosol packing is simple and always ready for use. It consists of metal (tin or aluminium ), plastic or glass tins, valve equipment with dispensing pump, siphon pipe and protective cap. Protective cap defends dispensing pump from casual pressure. Valve equipment is consists of details range.
